The Cruisemaster™ G35 shock absorber was specifically developed for Cruisemaster™ XT suspension systems.

This rugged shock absorber is nitrogen gas filled and enjoys a bigger bore, offering superior damping control.

Features;

  • 35mm bore for durability and longer life
  • 14mm piston rod for general off-road duties
  • Secondary arc welds provide additional mount strength
  • Bulged body maximises oil volume for heat control
  • Vulcanised Bushes for reduced wear and improved clamping surface (units sold from Feb 2020)

(Cruisemaster™ G40 Heavy Duty XT Shock Absorbers also available) 

This is a replacement shock absorber for Cruisemaster™ XT suspension systems only, this item is not suitable for other suspension systems.

Use of this shock absorber on other systems will immediately leave the warranty void. Due to being sold as a spare part bulk purchase of this item is not available.

 

Please note with the previous variant of these shock absorbers the top mount bracket would fold in slightly when clamping. This is no longer required with the vulcanised bushes. 

When replacing with new model shocks you may be required to knock top brackets back into their original form for fitment. 

 

We recommend the purchase of a replacement bolt kit (Type 1 or Type 2) to go with this item.

    A good solid shock for my off road van. Delivery was quick with only a few days between ordering and delivery.

    Just changed the shock absorbers on our 2014 XT - Cruisemaster suspension. One old shock had sprung a leak and the others were looking pretty tired. The new equivalent G35 (33J -2900) shocks are slightly larger in diameter than the originals and fitted up perfectly. The new shocks have heavier sleeves in the end mounts and look well made. The old model shock was made in Mexico while these are made in Thailand, and look better quality.
    These shocks can only be brought from Cruisemaster and they are cost effective . In comparison to the old shocks these are much stiffer in action.
    Don't go for the heavy duty alternative as it will likely be too stiff.

    I have an almost three year old top of range Sunland Phoenix van delivered in Nov 2018. 4 of 8 shocks are weeping and one lost all fluid.
    We lived in our previous Sunland with cruisemaster suspension and travelled some of the worst roads in Aus. without issue. I like Cruisemaster but disappointed with G35s

    Needed replacement shock absorbers while visiting Alice Springs. Phone advice was great and received new shock absorbers from Brisbane within 7 days.....TNT expressI

    Finally arrived almost a month after placing order. This was due to the time Australia Post takes to get things across to W.A.

    38000 km mainly bitumen over 4years. hope g35 is improved. this is on 16ft 6 inches van
